Healing Grounds is a new 4,436 square foot veterinary clinic for the holistic healing of animals. The facility is located on the corner of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Northwest 2 Street and will be a LEED certified building. The site was designed to include quiet inspirational settings and animal relief areas. The grounds contain an entry courtyard with tea garden and walkway, memorial garden, pool for animal rehabilitation, and herb garden. The functional program has a reception area, four exam rooms, two massage rooms, pet retreat, x-ray room and treatment area. Significant passive and active sustainable goals were established to create healthy and environmentally responsible environments. The exterior will incorporate natural materials for a “Zen” aesthetic. Healing grounds will be an urban sanctuary for humans and animals.
